Cold July

Band

Their music also draws from the melodic craftsmanship of Crowded House, the anthemic acoustic rock of the Goo Goo Dolls, and the

harmony-driven indie folk of Flyte, The Dunwells and Dry The River. They channel the emotional depth of Phoebe Bridgers and Gracie Abrams while

capturing the euphoric indie pop energy of The 1975.

Formed in May 2024 at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford, the band bonded over their love of classic songwriting and ambition

to create lasting music. Though only 18, their songwriting shows a maturity beyond their years. This is clear in their debut single Song For Him, a

heartfelt tribute written by lead singer Luke Fyfe in memory of a family friend. With soaring melodies, poignant lyrics and an epic acoustic rock

arrangement, the song sets the tone for what Cold July represents.

With a deep respect for music history and influences spanning the 60s to today, Cold July carries a quiet confidence that is both endearing and

electrifying.
